Institution of Civil Engineers 

Founded in 1818, the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is a UK-based international organisation with more than 95,000 members, ranging from students to professionally qualified civil engineers. As an educational and qualifying body, with charitable status under UK law, we support our members throughout their careers, and help society to have trust and confidence in infrastructure professionals. Under our Royal Charter, ICE has become recognised worldwide for its excellence as a centre of learning, a public voice for the profession and a leading source of expertise in infrastructure and engineering policy.


Infrastructure Client Group

The Infrastructure Client Group (ICG) brings together the UK’s most progressive economic infrastructure clients in partnership with government and industry. It's key purpose is to lead the acceleration of the improvement and alignment in the delivery and development of UK infrastructure for the benefit of the economy, society and the environment.


Infrastructure and Projects Authority

The Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) is the government's centre of expertise for infrastructure and major projects. The IPA is at the heart of government, reporting to the Cabinet Office and HM Treasury. The core teams include experts in infrastructure, project delivery and project finance who work with government departments and industry.


Construction Leadership Council

The CLC’s mission is to provide sector leadership to the construction industry. The expanded CLC has twelve workstreams that operate collaboratively to address the biggest issues facing the sector, focused on the Industry Recovery Plan. Workstreams include skills and inclusion, building safety and business models. The CLC is co-chaired by Lee Rowley MP, Minister for Business and Industry, and Andy Mitchell CBE, CEO of Thames Tideway.


National Infrastructure Commission

The National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) is the executive agency responsible for providing expert advice to government on infrastructure challenges facing the UK. One of its main tasks is to undertake a national infrastructure assessment during each Parliament. It also undertakes studies in specific areas of infrastructure, makes recommendations to government, and monitors its progress on infrastructure.
